How Awesome Rae, are these based on actual musicians? How big is your area? I can't wait! Will you post a couple of Progress Pics too!? Maybe I could come and do a Story? I am seriously working on my Internet TV Program! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Lita! Yes! they are inspired by great jazz musicians - but the painting will not be realistic. The musicians that I am using for the images are Slide Hampton on trombone, Freddy Hubbard on trumpet,Cleveland Eaton on bass(much younger in the painting I am doing, and John Coltrane on sax. Again, the finished painting will not look like them, really, but it was inspired by them. :)
